Sega's handheld made one bold promise the Game Boy could not: a full-colour, backlit screen. It delivered, and games looked wonderful, but the six AA batteries it drained in a few hours were the price of that brightness. Built on Master System hardware, it played smart conversions of Sega's console hits and even took an add-on TV tuner. It never toppled Nintendo's brick. The games below are its highlights, and a working boxed unit is a nice find today.
